The Galactic Aid Organization, more commonly referred to as GAO, is a non-government, Galactic Nations-affiliated, aid and relief organization dedicated to preserving the lives of the inhabitants of the Known Galaxy. Through its medical, disaster relief, and food drives, GAO has become the premier relief group in the interstellar community, with over two billion staff and volunteers across the Known Galaxy and child organizations within almost every nation.
