Named for the Ebenist goddess of wisdom, intelligence, and the hunt, Seilkhr rounds are a family of guided bullets and shells designed and used by the Sirian Union. They may use a number of different methods of tracking the target, but by far the most common is optical guidance due to its relative resistance to jamming and other measures. Movable fins at the base of the round steer it toward the target, and the round's onboard guidance system can remember targets, ensuring that if the target is suddenly obscured the round can still guide on their approximate location.
Most Seilkhr rounds do damage in the traditional manner, but some contain a small stand-off explosive designed to improve penetration (particularly against heavily armoured targets or those in defilade). This is most common amongst larger rounds, such as Seilkhr HEAT shells.
